Kon Tiki Quality wins his first international eventing competition ever CSI 1*

The six-year-old approved stallion Kon Tiki Quality Z immediately handed over his business card at his first international performance.

Under the saddle of Vincent Martens, the son of Kannan out of the thoroughbred mare Summer Stage xx already won the dressage test on the first day with a lead of almost 4 points. Kon Tiki started as leader in the jumping and was also in the lead after the jumping test. He then drove clear in one of the fastest times over the cross course, which also enabled him to complete his first international participation as the overall winner.

Indeed Kon Tiki wins in Westerstede ( Germany) at his first international appearance. I wasn't there but Vincent just told me that Kon Tiki over there attracted all the attention.

The imposing stallion always scores well in dressage and during this heavy cross he felt great. Vincent wasn't even going full throttle. We had agreed not to drive into the red for Kon Tiki's first international appearance, but afterwards it turned out that we had one of the fastest times. We are super content and curious what this horse will show us, we have certainly not seen the end of his ability yet.

Knowing that this is a breeding stallion, I think we have a real gem here for Belgian eventing breeding. We were able to sell frozen seed from him directly to Germany, but as with all our stallions, we do not sell frozen seed. It is fresh or you have to offer your mare to us.
