The first innovation is that the current organization with Luk Van Puymbrouck and Koen Terryn is expanded with a new partner, Gerald Lenaerts. Gerald is no stranger to the auction world. He was the pioneer of the Horse Auction Belgium for many years. Gerald is also the owner of Stud Farm Overis and breeder of Ciske Van Overis and many other top horses.
A second innovation is the new location for the next auction on the beautiful property of Sentower Park in Opglabeek. To annual tradition, the organizers of the Flanders Foal Auction will remain to organise 2 foal auctions each year, an auction in June and an auction in September. The next Flanders Foal Auction in the Sentower Park in Opglabeek is on Thursday, September 18th, 2014. The auction starts at 20h30. 20 athletic foals with top pedigrees, as well as some embryos will be offered for sale. New in this edition is that some very interesting mares in foal to proven stallions, will be offered.
